BELLEVILLE, Ill. - One man is in custody and one woman was hurt after a domestic situation turned violent Friday morning in Belleville. The incident involved gunfire around 9 a.m. near the corner of Gate Wood Court and Frank Scott Parkway West. ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. - A man faces felony charges after a marijuana meetup near a north St. Louis County high school led to a shooting earlier this month. Steven Brown, 37, of Pine Lawn, is accused of shooting a woman as she tried to get away from an altercation. Brown allegedly pulled out a weapon, firing one shot into the air and firing another near the victim's legs. The victim quickly got into her car to drive away, but felt pain in her leg. The Platte Street building that serves as the headquarters of BP’s U.S. onshore oil and gas operations has sold, taking the title of Denver’s biggest office sale of 2023.The five-story Riverview building at 1700 Platte St. sold on Tuesday for $129.1 million, according to public records. CBRE marketing materials listed the building as 202,500 square feet, making the deal worth $637 a square foot.Texas-based Crescent Real Estate bought the building.
